What gets deleted

When a verified request is processed, we remove the account itself and the personal information attached to it:

• Your sign-in credentials and the account record that identifies you.
• Your profile: name, email, phone number, driver's license number, and emergency contact details.
• Your vehicle and insurance details, including policy and agent information.
• Your accident reports, the location recorded for each one, and the photos and evidence you uploaded.
• The messages you exchanged with a law firm through the product, and any call records tied to your account.

How the request is handled

The request is not instant, and it is not processed automatically from this page. After you confirm the link we email you, our support team reviews and processes the deletion, because accident reports are linked to evidence, messages, and in some cases to a law firm's financial records that have to be checked before anything is removed.

We email you when the request is verified and again when processing is complete. If you do not receive the first email, check your spam folder before submitting again.

What we may keep, and why

A small set of records can outlive the account, and we keep only the narrowest amount needed for the stated purpose:

• Financial and billing records generated by a law firm's payments, which we are required to retain for tax and accounting purposes.
• Records needed to investigate fraud, abuse, or a safety incident, and records subject to a legal hold or an active dispute.
• Aggregated or anonymized data that no longer identifies you.

If you cannot verify the email

If you no longer have access to the email address on the account, write to privacy@accidentpal.ai from any address and describe the account. We will verify your identity another way before acting on the request. For any other help using the product, write to support@accidentpal.ai.
